The Honda Activa 6G is the newest generation of the company’s highest selling model that is available in two variants – Standard and Deluxe. The scooter retains the overall styling of the previous model although with slight tweaks to its bodywork and chrome embellishments on the front apron.
In terms of features, the Activa 6G gets an ACG silent starter motor, engine start-stop switch, a double lid external fuel filler cap and 18-litre underseat storage space. The Activa 6G comes powered by a 109cc, fuel-injected motor that produces 7.7bhp of power and 8.79Nm of torque which is a marginal decrease compared to the BS4 model’s output. One of the major changes comes in the form of the telescopic forks upfront which replace the trailing link suspension that featured on all other Activa models until now. Braking on the other hand is handled by a drum brake at both ends with CBS. The Activa 6G also gets a larger 12-inch front wheel and continues with a 10-inch rear wheel.
Honda is offering the Activa 6G with an option of six colour schemes which include Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. As for competition, it continues to go up against the TVS Jupiter in the country.
