About Gixxer SF

Suzuki Gixxer SF is a sports bike available in 2 variants in india. Its lowest version starts from a price of ₹1,25,187 (ex-showroom) and the top version from a price of ₹1,26,185 (ex-showroom). Suzuki Gixxer SF generates 13.4 bhp of power and 13.8 nm of torque from its 155cc engine. Single cylinder engine of Gixxer SF has a 5 speed manual gearbox. With both rear and front disk brakes, the top variant of Suzuki Gixxer SF also has an anti-locking braking system. This 148 kg bike is available in 3 colours.

The Gixxer SF is Suzuki’s smallest fully-faired offering for India that had received a major overhaul in 2019. The curvy design has been ditched for a sleeker styling which bears close resemblance to its elder sibling, the Gixxer SF 250. The motorcycle now features a full LED headlamp and tail lamp unit, updated digital instrument console, split-seats and clip-on handlebars.

In the powertrain department, the bike continues to be powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor. However, the motor has been tweaked to comply with BS6 emission norms which has resulted in a drop in its performance over the BS4 model. Pumping out 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm, it comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The bike retains the same suspension setup, telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by disc brakes at both ends and is equipped with single-channel ABS. The new model features a 12-litre fuel tank and tips the scale at 146kg, which is about 8kg heavier than its predecessor. The new Gixxer SF is offered in Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black and Glass Sparkle Black paint schemes and one with Suzuki’s Racing Blue livery similar to the GSX-RR MotoGP race bike.
