About Pulsar 125
Bajaj’s most affordable Pulsar model has received the BS6 upgrade. Similar to the BS4 motorcycle, the latest iteration of the Pulsar 125 is available in two variants – disc brake and drum brake.
The limited visual upgrades to the BS6 model include the addition of fuel tank shrouds that aim to give an even more muscular look to the Pulsar 125. Rest of the styling remains unaltered, and the Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 continues with the Pulsar 150-inspired design and features that include halogen headlight with two pilot lamps, an LED taillight, semi-digital instrument cluster and a muscular look. The motorcycle is currently listed in a single colour option – Black Blue.
The sporty commuter uses a 124.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, twin-spark engine that makes 11.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.
Hardware specifications on the Pulsar 125 BS6 include telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear springs to perform the shock absorption tasks. Anchoring power comes from drum brakes (170mm front/130mm rear) on the base model while the premium version comes equipped with a 240mm front disc. The safety net on both variants includes CBS tech as standard.
