About Classic 350

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a cruiser bike available in 6 variants in India. Classic 350 price is Rs. 1,59,851 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Royal Enfield Classic 350 generates 19.1 bhp of power and 28 nm of torque from its 346cc engine. Single cylinder engine of Classic 350 has a 5 speed manual gearbox. With both front and rear disk brakes, the top variant of Royal Enfield Classic 350 also has an anti-locking braking system. This 195 kg bike is available in 11 colours.

The BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains the same classic-inspired design and styling of the previous model. However, it is available in new paint schemes that differentiate it from the previous model. There is the Stealth Black, Chrome Black, Signals Airborne Blue, Signals Stormrider Sand, Gunmetal Grey and Classic Black colour options. Furthermore, the Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey colours are equipped with alloy wheels as standard while the other variants sport spoke wheels.

The Classic 350 uses a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that now comes with a fuel-injection system and minor changes to make it BS6-compliant. While the company hasn’t revealed power figures yet, we expect the new Classic 350 to put out slightly lower power than the current model’s 19.8bhp. Nevertheless, torque figures could remain unchanged at 28Nm.

Apart from these changes, the motorcycle remains the same. The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels shod with tube-type tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks upfront and dual spring-loaded shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends while the system is equipped with an option of dual-channel ABS and single-channel ABS.

In terms of competition, the Classic 350 rivals against the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Jawa Standard.
