It comes with the new and improved OM 926 engine with a 6-cylinder, 7200cc BS6 engine. It gets a G131 6 Speed gearbox along with a 395mm Single dry plate clutch with hydraulic control with clutch booster. The 2828C truck weighs 28000 (Nylon Tyre) 27600 (Mining Tyre) with parabolic type leaf spring front suspension with 2 hydraulic shock absorbers and a rear bogie suspension.
