Mahindra is the one of the only major automakers betting big on electric vehicles in India’s commercial vehicle space.
Mahindra brings another e-auto in the passenger carrier segment- The Alfa Mini is an option to the Treo range of 3W. The e-auto is affordable to buy and far cheaper to run than the diesel auto and, importantly, a zero-emission vehicle. The e-Alfa Mini gets a 48V 120Ah battery, a brushless DC motor of 1000 W, and offers a sizable torque of 3.2Nm. The transmission is a direct type. The maximum speed of Alfa Mini is 25 km/hr.
